SciTech Museum, Aurora, IL

In the Fall of 2002 we helped the SciTech Museum install a GeoWall. It has been used to show a variety of educational content including content developed by the GeoWall Consortium.

In February of 2003 we helped the Museum of Science and Industry set up a GeoWall to show 'Virtual Harlem' as part of their 6 week exhibit: 'CyberRhythms: Black Innovation in Technology.' Virtual Harlem allows students to walk the streets of Harlem, NY in the 30s and meet several of the famous people of the time.

Abraham Lincoln Elementary School, Oak Park, IL

Since 1999 the Electronic Visualization Laboratory (EVL) has been working with Lincoln Elementary using a variety of advanced visualization display devices including an ImmersaDesk and a PC-driven plasma panel to teach the scientific method. In Spring 2002 we replaced the ImmersaDesk with a GeoWall for future studies.

Gwendolyn Brooks Middle School, Oak Park, IL

In the Spring of 2003 EVL began working with Brooks Middle School to continue our work teaching the scientific method using a GeoWall.

Revitalize group at NCSA

In the Summer of 2003 we began helping the Education, Outreach and Training group at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) acquire and demonstrate the potential of the GeoWall. Their GeoWall will to be rotated through several schools in Illinois and used as part of their outreach activities dealing with visualization for rural school districts.

TRECC

In the Fall of 2002 we installed a GeoWall at NCSA's DuPage Technology Research, Education and Commercialization Center (TRECC) in Illinois The GeoWall will be used as part of their education and outreach activities.
